Domicilary Care

Good Companions specialises in providing the highest quality care services delivered in your home.

We operate a bespoke domiciliary care service, which is registered with social services we are inspected by The Care Quality Commission.

The care you require will be tailored to meet your individual needs.

Our Goal...

How We Operate

The Good Companions have been providing care for a number of years both locally and nationally. Clients are referred to us by recommendation or through social services.

An appropriately qualified Care Manager or Team leader will visit you at home or in hospital and complete a full assessment of your needs (with your agreement). No two clients are the same therefore it’s important for us to tailor the care package to meet your individual needs.

Once the assessment has been completed the Care Manager or Team leader will agree a date for the care/support package to commence.

Continuity of care worker

This will very much depend on the number of visits you require however The Good Companions will make every attempt to ensure continuity, limiting the number of carers who visit your home.

You will be assigned a named Team Leader who will visit and make regular contact to ensure the care package meets your needs.

This is important to us as we understand that things can change.

Our Carers

Great care is taken in the selection of our carers. All must have a professional compassionate attitude and each must have a desire to work in an area where their understanding will enhance the quality of life for their client.

Each carer will have different skills and care experiences – some will have a formal training in care; others will be working towards this.

All carers have references carefully checked by us – we conduct a personal interview and a background check through the Criminal records Bureau prior to enrolling with our agency. Carers are issued with an identification badge from our agency.
